Press Release: Clouvider adds Telia as a 5th carrier

One of the UK’s leading cloud hosting and dedicated server providers has announced a partnership with Europe’s second largest backbone provider as a carrier for its network.
Clouvider has partnered with Telia, to bring its services to Clouvider’s new Juniper powered Point of Presence at Telehouse North 2 in London’s Docklands. The new partnership will ensure Clouvider customers have rock-solid connectivity to the Telehouse North 2 datacentre that is widely regarded as one of the most advanced in the continent. As Clouvider operates it’s own MPLS TE network this will benefit Customers at all Clouvider’s Points of Presence.
Clouvider currently works with four other carriers, Level3, NTT, GTT and Cogent and by bringing Telia on board it will enable the company to provide its customers with more direct connectivity with a much lower latency.
A company spokesperson for Clouvider Limited, said: “We are delighted to announce a new carrier for our network, Telia, the 2nd largest backbone provider in Europe.
“Adding Telia at our new Juniper powered point of presence at Telehouse North 2 will benefit our Customers by providing even more direct routes, with lower latency to even more global networks.
“This brings the total number of carriers at our network to five.”
The Telehouse North 2 facility is located in the heart of London’s Docklands and is widely regarded as one of the best-connected datacentres in Europe, with impeccable security and energy features.
Telehouse North 2 is built with at least N+1 resiliency on every component and is supremely ecologically friendly, featuring an Excellent BREEAM rating and a PUE of 1.16. In terms of security, the site has more than 400 movement-activated CCTV cameras across all areas of the campus, including its state-of-the-art suites.
